Record Power SC4 Chuck Grub Screw and Washer

I have one of these chucks but without the blind set (grub) screw and leather (?) pad that is fitted in a hole on the chuck body that stops the chuck unscrewing when the lathe is used in reverse.
Record Power can sell me as below for about £12 but I only need the grub screw and the right size leather or fibre washer that goes in the hole in the chuck before the grub screw that pressed against the spindle to stop the chuck unscrewing when in reverse.
Before I start ferreting about and I don't have any spare grub screws does anyone know the size and also how thick is the washer and made out of what?
I guess I will be sending Record some doubloons to cover the cost!

If you look around for brass tipped grub screws or nylon tipped grub screws you will find lots that are better. The tips are part of the screw rather than 2 pieces so less likely to be lost. The right suppliers are cheaper too. If there is a fastener business near you they may have them in stock, saving you the shipping.

I have removed the grub screw from my SC4 chuck.
The screw measures 6 mm dia x 6 mm long, it looks a fine thread, I am unable to check the pitch. The leather pad I am not going to dig out as it would be destroyed. The pad I think is 5 mm dia x 3 mm thick, hope this helps.

Thank you thats very helpful, now I know the length which is important so next step will take chuck to local nuts/bolts etc emporium and see what I can see. The leather pad info is good maybe I will carve a bit off a belt/buckle or cadge a bit from our shoe repairers and push it down the hole

Just checked my SC3 and SC2, a standard M6 thread runs nicely into both. If you have an M6 setscrew or bolt you could cut it to length, cut a slot in one end with a hacksaw and just use a small flat bladed screwdriver to tighten. For a pad cut almost anything. Bit of packaging, bit of plastic tub, ziploc tie end, old shoe, designer handbag.....
