record 071 blades

Hi all
I have a record 071 plane (with depth gauge)with just one cutter. I assume that stanley and veritas blades will fit to the plane. Is this correct? Where can I find in Europe spare new blades for the plane?

It is, although you might have to flip the adjuster nut the other way up to accommodate the longer (taller?) Veritas cutters.

The Veritas ones - big list of dealers in Europe here. No-one in Italy unfortunately, but plenty of those listed will be happy to help I'm sure. For Stanley, well I'm pretty sure they've discontinued them now, but you could try here, although they don't seem to be accessible from the drop down list at the top. :?
