3 years none smoking should of just kept my vapour box and kanthal wire would of worked a treat i could make coils all day long so simple looking at bench power units look a bit fancy.i will just sick some kanthal on a couple of 18650 batteries will burn a house down. i used to vape at 30 watts on kanthal 0.5 ohm coil 26 gauge 5 wraps was like a chimney the coil use to glow like a bulb

Peter chillds gets the most glowing (hah!) reports. Not cheap, but when you could actually burn your house down by messing with this kind of stuff, that would be my choice.

so simple no more complicated than the custom e-cig vape machines i use to make.works like a charm total cost £19.49.£18.99 for low volt dimmer psu, wife works at B&Q dimmer switch £0.50p wire scrap in workshop total time hour messing round fetching psu,job done.thanks for everybody's input.
