PVA Glue

Just bought a Large tub of PVA glue for wood sealing. shoul di water it down when using it or slapit on as it is?

I would use it as it is to get a good seal

I dilute mine by either 1:2 or 1:4 (PVA:water) depending on which ratio I can remember on the day. Could be duff advice though as my oldest piece of sealed wood is only 2 months old.

I've bought some Chestnut Endseal wax emulsion and some wax candles. I'm going to try both of these techniques too.

pva isnt very good for our purposes, any cheap oil based paint will work far better.

I've used PVA,still do and feel it's better used neat.
Perhaps you can dilute it down a little to make it spread further.but i feel 50/50 was too weak.
