Push pin hammer

I wondered if someone could give me any information on this http://www.rutlands.co.uk/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi/DKW15 I have a very old 'rampin' tool (wooden handle and brass tube) which does the same thing. I was just curious, does this work in the same way (manually pushing the pin in) or does the button on the handle do anything?

It's not a button, its a lump of metal so you can use it like a nammer on the ones that are too hard to push in

I've got one of these, bought it years ago. It is useful from time to time. I'm sure I didn't pay anything like Rutlands price for it, though !

Yeah, it is a bit expensive (especially as it doesn't have a super duper button ) I'll just stick with old antique one which does its job well.
