when ever i log on to this site i have to wait ages for each page to load, i get the workshop banner and the 2 lines starting faq and blogs straight away but the links to each page take ages to appear sometimes more than a minute. I havnt changed any of the settings on my computer and the site used to load perfectly until about 2 weeks ago if you have any ideas how to speed up the site i would be very grateful.
ps every other site i visit loads properly
cheers

Super fast for me every time. Try clearing out your browser cache and ensure your cookies are set up ok. If you're using Windows XP and Internet Explorer even if you have your browser settings to clear the temp folder whenever you shut down it doesn't actually do it. That will slow you down.

I use Firefox browser - no problems at all, and none of those interminable updates from Microsoft to worry about. Right now I'm looking at Linux and pretty soon I hope to ditch all Microsoft products completely (the only one I use now is the o/s). :D

Hi Kenny

I expect it will be to do with the Google ads that are on each page.

I suspect it will be a setting on your firewall.

Cheers,
Neil

ive changed my 80 gig hard drive to a 250 gig one and every thing is perfect i think it was because my 80 gig one was full anyhow its running great now

I use Opera at home and IE at work. It seems OK for me. I also have Fire Fox for checking any sites I build and it's OK in that as well. As said check your cache and your firewall settings.

Halken,

I had a problem yesterday evening, where I couldn't access a few websites including UKW). I solved the problem by resetting my wireless router to is factory settings. If you have a wireless router, maybe you could try this.

edit: Sorry, I didn't notice you had it fixed
