If its old lab benches they are made up of narrower bits tongue & grooved together, I had a load out of a college a couple of years ago & they cost me a crate of beer. Should be well seasoned though. Comes from west africa & used a lot in boatbuilding.

Not sure if Iroko is south american, I always thought west african, ivory coastish area. £1000.00 cub mtr would be a general estimate. Forgive me if it is south american iroka, if it is I know nothing about it :)

Cheers for the info guys. I was told it was South American so took it as said.

Not so much to worry about then, may just use it as shelves then as th ekids wont use it - in fact all we do is cut it up into samplke sized pieces to do material testing .

They are all single sections, not joined together, they'll do as shelves and if someone wants a bit they aare alwyas there

If its that laboratry stuff, iroko, it is very good for outside external work, and the grain can be attractive on boxes I make. Mine does suffer from stress when cut on machinery and distorts.
The large tops are not tongue and grooved on mine but wide slabs.
You will need machinery to work with, you will be exhausted working by hand on that lot, unless you use nails. :)
