prefinished veneer boards

just about to start a wardrobe project for my brother in law, and i was thinking i could save time if i could buy maple veneered mdf or ply already finished. Anyone know if its available and who might sell it?

Other than buying MFC or MF-MDF, no. The problem is how do you edge the stuff if it's pre-finished?

Theres a company called Edens which do a pre finished 8x4 veneered boards, they come covered in a plastic film, don't use them myself as we spray our own stuff.

Hope this helps.

Disadvantages are as scrit says and also theres a good chance it will get scratched whilst building your project.

Senior, thanks for the pointer this is exactly what i was looking for, i guess i need to be carefull not to scratch it though the peel off film should help

Scrit, i take you point about edging but i see on edens website that they have laquered edging as well! not sure if its iron on though, i will give them a call tomorrow
