Hello everyone,

I picked up a new 1/4'' bowl gouge on Friday, so decided to spend yesterday afternoon turning this small bowl. It's size is approximately 5'' x 2 1/2'', I think it's spalted sycamore but not sure. It was finished using J-Flex cloth to 400 grit, I then added a coat of sanding sealer, which was cut back using 500 grit abranet, once it had dried next step was to put on a coat of friction polish which was then burnished.

Clean, Simple, Practical, lines and finished well, can't ask for much more than that.

Thanks for all the comments on the bowl, all products that were used to finish the bowl are chestnut and the bowl gouge that was used was made by record, ground on the tormek to 45 degrees
