Does anyone remember those white porcelain insulators used in the ‘olden days’ in back garden aerials?
Can they still be purchased these days and from where? I need only two in order to make the thing look professional. Okay, you’ve guessed - I’m building a crystal set! My contribution to energy saving.

You could try your local BT depot as those insulators are the same ones that used to be used on the telegraph poles that ran alongside railway lines. Or, try a ham radio forum? They are collectors items now!
