Not sure if there's been a thread on this before, but what does anyone think about the new-style Popular Woodworking, combining the old mag with Woodworking? Mine arrived at the weekend.

I read this recently and I thought the depth of detail in the articles was very good. However it seemed quite slim and therefore not the best value for money when bought from WHsmith . I particuarly liked some of the articles concerning cabinetry with carving which was an area I had never really looked at.

I've never had a problem, but a) I may be on a special freelist and b) I've no idea when the publication date is! Hope no one's had too many problems with our subs service. If you have, apologies, and do please tell me.
