I get the emails from Fine woodworking with attached videos, some are available as trailers because I am not a paying subscriber.

I find the videos quite good and reasonable quality.

Poll how many subscribe?

I do. For 5 dollars a month it is no more expensive than a British magazine and that gives you access to pdfs of current issue as well as all the videos.

Are you really being charged $5? I had a subscription but cancelled it as I was being debited at £5 per month and there wasn't enough, that I couldn't find elsewhere FOC, that interested me enough to warrant that much.
A bit like the Magazines, once you've read a certain number, one tends to find a lot of repetition.

I'm still very new to this game so have yet to find the repetitious nature that eventually comes with any magazine. I guess I'll end up cancelling when that happens. btw I think I end up paying ~ £4 and a few pennies. I guess it all depends on how your bank deals with the foreign money transactions.

True enough, I only recently found out my fab BS Santander ((Abbey) Abbey National) charge £1.25 per foreign currency transaction.

The poll needs a "do not watch them at all" option.

BugBear

My intention of a poll is to show Fine Woodworking that although they have fine videos and content people here are perhaps not subscribing.

Why not?

One reason is the currency charge we get from the financial system?
So have a UK price location?

We can get videos on the net free anyway so you are charging too much or you need advertising revenue generation?

So Fine Woodworking: Respond?
