A little follow up from a previous post when I was ripping ply apart on the dovetail jig.
I bought a Spiral Up Cut from Wealden, T8U8000B, Did my first test cut this morning and the joints
have come out perfectly. Just need a little more practice with that little dial fixed below the router
to get snug fit.

Which version of the Leigh jig do you have? I'm considering buying one next year for doing short runs (10 max) of drawers and would be keen to hear what your experiences are with it.

Axminster were out of stock of the 12" Zeddedhed so I ended up with the 18" Super Jig with kit. I very nearly opted for the D4R which cost the same, but the extras would have cost about another £260.00. There's a couple of things to do setting up but in use it's quite straight forward. I've found the trickiest is finding the correct setting on the e-bush, but I reckon I've been turning it too much and it probably only needs the slightest of turns.
After the disaster trying to make a plywood box last week, I did make my first box out of elm, not finished yet, and everything came out nice and accurate. I made
the joints a tiny bit bigger and then sanded flush. You'll have to forgive the poor image quality, I used my phone.

I'm glad it worked out for you, I had wondered if my suggestion was bo***cks.

You're a star for suggesting that cutter Mike :D It mentions a Spiral Cutter in the box joint section of the manual, but nothing about using it for ply,
so I wouldn't have bought one.
