Planer thicknesser blades

Hi all,

My original planer blades are,
210mm x 16.5mm x 1.5mm

Can I use,
210mm x 18mm x 3mm

I can't get the original size quickly so wondered if a slightly bigger size will fit.

I usually get mine sharpened rather than replace, but do have a spare set.

It depends, if you can't get the ne blade down further in holder, then the top blade edge will be above your outfield table, so unless you can avoid this then I'd not use them.
