Plane Truing Service

Hi All
Whilst looking at Dick Tools website (www.dick.biz) I notice they offer a plane truing service. Have a look here....

For a Jack plane it works out at about £50 plus the postage, but it looks lie they do a good job. Also they will true the sides square for you.
Don't know if this is of interest, but if you have a beloved plane that needs a serious tune-up and don't want to do it yourself its nice to know you can get it done for you. And lets face it, the Germans rock at engineering. (Yes I am an Audi owner..... :roll: )

I thought with this post you were going into extra - curricular activities since you did such a good job on my blades.
Mind you all those Stanleys could require truing.
