Can any "reference book enhanced" member tell me anything about this maker?

I concur with Philly.
W. Dibb was making planes early 1800s and in fact, they made quite a lot of shipwright tools. Which may seems strange being in York and a long way from the sea, but in fact there was quite a lot of boat building taking place in York and nearby Selby and Goole during this period.
I have a picture of a 7" spar plane made by Dibbs in about 1820 - unfortunately, I haven't got the plane !!!
