Plan needed for baby cradle

Hi all,

Can anyone help with a plan, I'm looking to make a swinging cradle for our baby due in March. I was looking at the one made by Binky's Woodworking or similar. Published in March '87 issue of wood magazine.

I'm sure all babies are different. But for some reason ours doesn't like being rocked side-to-side. Back and forth seems to be the motion that works for us. Might be worth thinking about.

If you can't find a plan, I would find one similar to what you want in a shop and take some measurements.
