Pine stripping

Hello all.
Anybody know of somewhere that does decent pine stripping within driveable distance of Bedfordshire ( Luton to be exact ) I've tried the yellow pages, etc, and there doesn't seem to be any. I have about 8 old pine doors to do.
Any estimate on a cost too would be good.

couldnt give you a true estimate, but have seen some places advertised locally as little as £10 a door

thanks. I'll have a look at that and give them a ring. Cant see me doing them all with a heat gun and Nitromors.

Must be a North/South thing...

... I can think of four or five companies in the south Manchester area who do nothing but strip pine doors!

Dan makes a good point,,,,

I live in Essex, from Scotland originally, but I've found over and over again that down here I have to buy new rather than refurbish / renew old purely because there isnt the companies doing work like stripping etc....

Maybe have a chat with your friendly architectural salvage yard,,,be surprised if they didnt know someone or maybe do it themselves,,,

I managed to find one that was local-ish ( 20 miles ) and they said they just sold it as is and couldn't help. I find that's the general response to things around here. I'm really envious of all these people on here that live in counties where there are still companies and services that exist that do these things and you can get a job done correctly and it not be dictated by the poor quality service that is available.
