Pine boards

Anyone no if there is anywhere in the Durham area I could buy/source good pine boards about 8inch x 1inch.
Ive been searching on line and 8inch ones seem harder to come by.

Hello load2go. If you don't already, it's worth keeping an eye on Gumtree. A couple of weeks back I just missed out on some 7" x 1" pine boards from a hospital that had been demolished. If nothing else, you could get a few contact numbers from traders on there.

Could you buy some 600mm boards and cut them down?

Buy 9" boards and cut them down. You lose mostly sapwood and improve the quality.
