This was a request from a friend of mine who, with his golf clique, traveled to Spain each year for their annual tournament. He wanted an inexpensive trophy for the winners (They played pairs) it had to have the trophy name on it (The Ten Euro Trophy) and I had to make two (identical). So this is what I came up with.
Sapele top and bottom, a piece of perspex tube, Tee from beech, little inset in the top green fablon.
Perhaps I should put this up for critique?

I like it! ...but l agree with Blister, I'd have preferred an sheen rather than a hard shine (I guess you were going for durability  )

Nice piece, would agree with others that the finish takes from it.
Havent played golf for some years now and have won worse pieces than that, well done just one small thing the top of the tee peg is too large it should be under the ball, Otherwise you hit the peg first and who knows what happens ,just a small thing but smaller things than that have lost golf tournements . but make the two the same somebody will be happy with them I know I would. Thank you for your comments,
varnish was not my first choice either, but as it was requested by the
client,,,,,?
Boysie, I know its too big. Its not real you know, its only a pretend Tee.
regards to you all.

Boysie, The tee is the right size ! - Just English balls are smaller then Irish !

JEEZ, Lads, You boys know all about turning and when someone askes for Crituqe you are not behind the door in airing your views,as some pointed out with the finish, which is at the of the day just your opienon.
I on the other hand pointed something out that is written in stone.
Loz, I'm afraid the English Gentlemen and us Europeans had the same size balls. It was the Yanks who had the big ones. John welcome to the forum you can see what it's like it's very hard to get away with anything.I Made my comments before the rest of your Gallery was seen if I had waited I could have commented on the finish of the Storks/Swans I would have tidyed it up a bit around the legs and base.
