Last nights effort ( camera date is wrong )

Slimline with Yew, BLO/CA finish. I really like this pen, but have to give it away !

Rolling Pin from Mahogany for my sister in law, 20 inches,

Has a couple of rings that caused me a few issues, i lost my dedicated captured ring tool ( allen key ) - do had to use a gauge, and not much room, so they're not perfect.

This pic makes the ends look quite different, its just perspective, they are fairly similar []

Nice pair there Loz (ooer missus :lol: ) The pen has a pink tinge to it at least on my laptop screen nice shape!. Never made a captive ring but we had a demo at the club and it seems straightforward to do?

Hi Steve,

yep the pen is all pink. Is a lovely block of yew i got off a pal, with a great lot of pink running through it.

The rings are a doddle to do ( but non turners are amazed at them )

The ones here aren't great to be honest, and too long ( less round ) but i didnt have much access in the cove they sit in.

I normally use a set of grinded back allen keys to do the job, but got knows where they fell !!!

Very nice looking pen Loz,and the roller aint bad either
