Hi Frank, no special tips really except to say you'll need to resharpen your chisels frequently as they dull quite rapidly.
I've got a sizeable lump left as am planning to have a go at making a box or two with some of it. Which 'grade' of block have you got to play with..?
Loz.... you're right, it's just a crappy photo, i'll try and get a better one later. All my 'cheaper' kits i buy from a nice lady off of ebay, and have tried most of the colours she does... chrome, black, titanium, red, blue, green, copper, gold etc. and as you can imagine certain colour kits will only work (well) with certain colour wood choice. Personally i dont like to see gold with say yew i.e. yellow & yellow = not right in my book.
The ladies at work..?? loved it as it's a different colour. "oooohh that's lovely, lovely colour. what wood is that.."? they asked...... it's not says I..... it's a piece of plastic (effectively).... "oh..... i dont like that, i only like the wooden ones you make..." WOMEN.....
