Does anyone know from whom you can buy PEG (polyethylene glycol) these days for stabilising wet wet?

Try your local university or FE college science dept. When I worked in the labs in an FE college we had gallons of the stuff. You might even get it for free if you give them a mention :D Failing that, as StevieB says you could try some of the big chemical suppliers such as Sigma, BDH or Philip Harris.
