Just a quick question. I was on Ebay to buy one of the AIM Katsu trim router kits with all the bases and wanted to see exactly how much I'd need to put into my paypal account to cover it, when my laptop went a bit sticky on the page. Before I had a chance to transfer money to the PP acct, I appear to have pressed the confirm purchase by paypal button. Now the bank accct I use is linked to PP. Does this mean they will automatically take the money to cover the purchase or have a made a bit of a boo boo?

If the accounts are linked it will do it all automatically.
I never transfer the money myself, i just leave it to do it all automatically.

I have mine linked and never transfer funds into paypal either, that seems to be a hassle. I like to make it easy to pay then I can claim to Mrs Stu that it was an accident that I bought so much stuff!

A mate of mine has a good approach, I was admiring a new shiny light bar on his car recently. I asked him where he got it from, he told me (while his wife was in earshot) that he won it. I thought that was pretty cool and asked him where he won it - he won it on ebay! So winning an auction enables you to say you won an item! Brilliant!

I have my paypal linked to a credit card that has no other activity. I buy the item, papal charges the card, I get the monthly statement both from paypal and the card. Maximum security, minimum on line exposure to card theft.

I do exactly the same so no chance of missing potential fraud or errors.
