Hi all
I'm sure i read recently.... (but now can't find it) the Sorby Patriot Chuck... can it take, or to put it another way.... will the Axminster range of jaws fit the Patriot..?
At the moment i've only got the bog standard jaws that came with the Patriot.... no problem, but i think i'm developing a penchant for turning smaller items, especially boxes, and think i could do with a smaller set of jaws if not the 'pin' jaws.
We were on holiday just outside of Ax just a couple of weeks ago, so took the opportunity of doing a bit of 'man' shopping and visited their store. Bought a load of bits and bobs (inc some Woodwax 22 to try), and while there asked the same question to one of the guys behind the desk. The answer came back as a definite NO..!! But even he had to go and ask the question to someone else.... so i'm kinda wondering if they were just looking after therir own and hoping to do a bit more business.
