Parkinson 41a woodwork vises

Hi all, recently picked up two Parkinson No.41a woodwork quick release vises with built in dog holes, cant find any mention of this model online, it has built in dog slot in the casting, also picked up a Perfect no15 in a separeate purchase looking forward to putting these in uses, much more info available for no.15

Very interesting -- I'm a Parky vice enthusiast, but never seen this model - presumably made sometime between about 1920 and 1960 (bar slide, not solid cast slide) .

I see you're in W Yorks - the home of Parky - maybe these were a prototype not put into production --- a lot of very interesting early woodworking cast iron vices come from the Bradford area

Yeah the parkinson factory was in Shipley, Ive been to the site some time ago its now a scrap dealers and about 6 miles from my house, funniliy enough I picked these up from a listing on Market place in Pontefract, I picked the No.15 up in Whitby
