I've managed to get an paramo no 51 for an absolute steal off facebook. it needs a little clean up but otherwise good coindition. im wondering if anyone could provide some information on this brand and the vise in questing, it would be intresting to learn the history behind it.
Also if anyone could left me know which shade of blue it should be, as i'll lilke to resore it to its former glorly.

They look pretty simarlar to the record roundel blue BS381C 110, paragon paints do really good enamels for traction engines really hard wearing and easy to apply with a brush they have this colour
 
This a record engineers vise I restored and painted with it

I ve got a Paramo saw vice, good quality.
I’ve managed to find out that F Paramore & Sons we’re making the castings for Record vices in the 1930s & 1940s. Am sure someone will be along soon with more detail.

thank you, its very hard to find information on google even about the brand let alone the vise.
