I have said it before, I confine any comments of that nature to the thread in question and on the rest of the forum I try and be helpful.
When I read the OP I imagined in my head a homemade shed/outbuilding and it seemed Roger was over thinking things a bit with his comments about labour time etc. Honestly I thought he was being a bit silly (though I didn't say that you notice).
After the picture I can see why he is taking this (kind of strange) "attitude" toward the insurance, it's not only a substantial structure that clearly has involved a lot of work but it is also full of glass and surrounded by trees in an exposed landscape where a tree falling is something to be concerned about. This is not something that would be covered as a shed under your standard policy.
So back to my earlier advice. Roger this is not something to be taken lightly. You need to at the very least submit proper information to your insurer or better yet use a broker. You need pictures and a set of plans if you want to be adequately covered in the event of an accident.
