Bought a portable Triton job some time ago, and finally got around to actually using it (!) a few days ago. It looks as if the "free" sleeves included are 80 grit boys, and seeing I'm a newcomer to using the machine, I thought it a good idea to splash out on a range of sizes/grits so I could experiment a bit.... and that's when I found out how much they cost!
Wow. For what they are, they're pricey. Even your out-of-China jobs on eBay....

No doubt some of you wonderful people know of cheaper sources?!

Hadn't thought of the cleaner...yes, that's a good idea - thank you!
Actually the unit is in bits as I write - it certainly spins, but there's no up-and-down movement, so I'm just looking at the drive belts...there's a separate cog (which I think must be involved with the vertical stuff) driven by one of the two main belts. I wonder if it wasn't seated right?
I'll apply my extensive engineering knowledge to try and rectify. (What time's it get dark?!)
