Tom Brill general woodworker and woodsman
Saw this on lumberjocks. Bloke who posted it left for some reason so can’t ask if it’s ok to post but he found it at a yard sale said they were selling it but I think he’s the type to keep it while. I was hoping to get my grandads but a relative clearer His workshop one day as he was vulnerable but left the box empty as it wasn’t worth anything to them.
I saw a charity twam they had a shelf full of old boxes just the same but all empty each representing a man life and being able to look into a box and see the tools as they were the day they closed the box I think thatd be like finding one of those old tombs to me.
Part of history that’ll be gone now sadly.
I made a copy of my Grandads box as a way of honouring him in my own way.
