My patio suffered damage this winter - the so called engineering bricks I used as feature strips proved not to be frost resistant!

So yesterday I had 850Kg of sand, 200 paviors and 10 bags of cement dumped on my drive.
Moved several hours later to my back garden using my old faithful wheelbarrow.
Its a metal contractors one I fished out of the River Wey when I was working on the A31 Alton By-Pass back in 1970!
I have used it many times on various building and landscaping jobs, its lived outside all this time and apart from some new tyres it still in good working condition.

They don't build 'em like that anymore? :)

Must have had mine for 20+ years now, a bit battered and rusty but still soldiers on, the Barrow I mean.

I've used the same one for 30 years - just had a couple of new wheels, a replacement body and new frame - good as new - don't make em like that any more

I think we got to tune into Boss Hogg's SOH folks!

I'm afraid that I still have my gandmother's wheelbarrow which she 'liberated' from the builders when they built her house in 1933!!! Admittedly it now has flowers in it, but it still works as I have to move it round the garden to the orders of SWMBO! It has a metal shod wheel, non of this modern rubber stuff!
