Oil stones?

Hi there.

I'm looking to pick up a few different shaped oil stones. I have some experience with precision dry stones, but not oil stones.

What stone do I want? I mean, I guess I can just slop oil on anything, but... Is there something better than others?

Again, I'm looking for different profiles, shapes and sizes for touching up tools and various honing problems, not just a flat bench stone.

Norton india slips off ebay work well, as does a black Arkansas slip.

As above or stick Scary Sharp onto any dowel or profile you can make.

There’s a lady …(emski47) on EBay selling Boride stones at a very good price. Various shapes sizes and grits..I bought some from her recently and she has lots more than shown on her Ebay site….Recommended..
