Always keep my eye on Facebook/gumtree/eBay etc and spotted these on Facebook marketplace.

£10 each, 190L capacity… would it be too big for a cyclone extraction system?

Looks like a bargain. If it fits physically where you want to put it then use it. You may want to add some wheels /dolly as it won't be light when full.

I use 200 litre metal drums with removable lids under my Pentz type cyclone. The drums have contained pear juice concentrate and I got 10 of them cheap from a local food processing plant. Having 10 barrels mean that I can haul away a trailer load at a time.
Anything smaller than theese barrels would betoo small when running my 600 mm planer/thicknesser.
