Well we thought about Bobs clock and it's six sides and it didn't suit the room, so we looked at making it square, and on the same theme of inlaid hour digits I came up with this.

Main face is 15mm thick and measures 350mm square all the edges were chamfered off on the router table about 5mm. It's edged all around with 25mm x 25mm and again chamfered on the two front edges.

Although I didn't take a pic the seiko timepiece it is recessed in the back by 10mm.

Dunno how accurate it is yet, but if it had no batery in it would be spot on twice a day

His Nibbs - nice clock, tho' I would have left a fraction more timber 'twixt 12, 3, 6 and 9 markers and the frame and a little bit more under the 6 to give it a bit of visual 'weight' and it looks to me as if the minute hand is going to strike the frame or pass over it - Rob

Nice work again Nibbo!

You're so fast.. in the time it's taken you to do your last two projects, all I've managed to get done is to put some nails in a bunch of fence panels.

Ooooooooh, now thats nice. Glad to have provided the inspiration. =D> I said it would not take long, didn't expect you to complete it this quick though!
