Hi all,
I am looking for a skirting board with a specific profile. The style I think is called Scottish Ogee (it goes under different names, depending where you are in the country) I attached a picture of the profile.

The thickness of the board is 15mm, the height is 120mm and the profile height is 32mm and ideally made out of MR MDF.
I can get it from B&Q but the quality is terrible. It is made of cheap pine and all of them were twisted, bowed which is great for canoe building, but terrible for skirting.

I was searching online, but it seems that the 32mm profile height is not a popular one.I was even thinking of making my own using a router bit, but I could not find that profile either...
Before I start spending silly money on custom made skirting or cutters, I thought I would ask you guys if you have any suggestions.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

If you only need a small amount you can make your own with a few standard router bits in the router table and the table saw by taking multiple passes and stepping over for each cut. Finish off with sandpaper wrapped around dowels, scraps etc and maybe a scratch stock you make and profile.
