As I am slaving over a hot scroll saw I often think of how I can use up the many off-cuts I produce and here are afew of the ideas I have come up with.

Geoff.

A few good ideas, thanks for posting, I hate just disposing of off cuts, I suppose it’s the Magpie in me, or as the wife calls it “compulsive hoarder”.

Take care.

Hi Brian. One day I really would love to have a go at intarsia but I feel anyone thinking of having a go at this wonderful aspect of scroll saw work would need a bobbin sander, which I don't have, although I have a large set of drum sanders and could make a table for the pillar drill. The nearest I have got so far to intarsia are some bases I made for my bud vases.

Hi Pete. To be honest I can't remember now where I got this pattern from or what it is called. Whenever I design a new pattern I often go to my pattern file and it can take me a long time to trawl through over 1000 different imagaes and patterns but then again I have a good idea where I will find what I am after.
