Hello. I might be interested in this. Is the modified fence sturdy enough to plane hardwood edges?
I know the question sounds silly but my Scheppach is still unusable after all the tweaks and adjustments I could come up with.

Hi Brad
the modified fence was working fine but I removed it and scrapped it, to fit the original again, as I was selling it, it was only a piece of scrap MDF fixed in place with the screws that were on the aluminium fence, I wanted a taller fence to plane hardwood edges, which it did fine so you could easily make another one, but I don't think I want to post to Romania

I appreciate the humor but I wouldn't ask you to. I have a friend in Harrow, London, and that's why I'm asking. He would collect it in person. Is there a chance you still have the original box for packaging?

No not the original box but I have a strong cardboard box that it fits in perfectly
