Looks legit to me. They're simply the historical equivalent of the LED work light we know and love today.

How long will it take these idiots to work out that any unskilled moron can drill a hole to fit a tea light. They are not gifts! Given an inquisitive child (or a ******** adult) they tragedy starters. For pity's sake grow up.

I did message the seller at the time about the dangers of the tealight and that the plane bodies are soaked in linseed oil when they are made, so a bespoke fire starter, his reply was enigmatic.
