 :? are we getting a bit too relaxed about the postings on the site?
I always watch out for Info.on shows or exhabitions on the site and am hoping to here of one that gives me 3/4 weeks to organise Ferrys and such as I would love to get over there and sample the athmosphere and actuely see someone turn some wood. What do I get? Today Mark Hancock no less posting about one with a few people that I have DVDs who were going to attend. I thought lovely I'll have that. Then I discover that this took place over a month ago,and by all accounts was a fantastic show.
Somebody graceiously pointed out to me a few weeks ago that I had answered a post that was two years old. Are you trying to confuse this old Irishman? If so put 3 shovels against the wall and ask me to take my pick.
All the big shows are well advertised with plenty of notice, but they are all around the time the seas rough and the weather not good for Ferrys. so if there are any between now and next September lets know about them. In the mean time keep things like that up to date.
No offence ment to Mark and if the site is volentary I apoligse it is a great site and I have learned so much from it my first port of call. Regards Boysie

No offence taken :)

Check out the 'Sticky: Woodworking Shows' in the Topics list. It's pretty up to date and will give you some advance warning about future shows and events.
