I have just been looking at your pictures of China mate, very nice. Did you travel extensively while there. I must admit I was jealous of your trip to Xian as it is a place I have never visited yet but really want to. The museum over the warriors pit reminds me of the one for the 1000 year old Empress in Chang Sha which I visited. My wife comes from Yi Yang city which is close to Chang Sha and we have friends in many parts of China including Chengdu where the Pandas are. Nice to see the gallery mate it brought back some wonderful memories for me too. Thanks.

Thanks for looking at the gallery, I took over 2500 pics and spent nearly a year editing them to get the numbers down. As an aside each cd I had burnt in a local backstreet shop cost 50p, and that included the disk
I have many stories from what was a trip of a lifetime. We actually booked with a Chinese travel agent. Apart from two days, where we were with two other people, the rest of the holiday consisted of my wife and daughter, an English speaking guide and a driver (oh I forgot to mention our vehicle was a 4x4 Lexus  ), so we were chauffeured on our own for 13 days.
I've kept the photo's in roughly the order of the trip and the itinerary is here
