Hi
have found your forum a few times when googling, am pretty new to all woodworking, and have been making experiments in little boxes over the past year, playing with segmentation, router inlay and fretwork and most recently found double bevel inlay - intriguing!
work in 8'x6' shed, so tools are limited to baby bandsaw, hand mitre saw (nobex proman) belt/disc sander (love it!),plunge router also dremel router table attachment, and most recent purchase a hegner multicut 1 variable speed that i found on e-bay, very old but excellent.
My real question is where can i find lovely wood? up til now have been using pine stripwood from B&Q or homebase, and most recently found alwayshobbies website and can get tulipwood for boxes and mahogany and walnut for inlay there also birch ply
I really need source for thinnish (approx10-12mm) wood as i don't have thicknesser or tablesaw
when i can figure out how i will post some pics
