Hi every one

Happy new yr to all members and have a great new 2008

Just to say thanks for the invitation to join this forum , been looking for one in the UK for some time now .

Quick mention about myself married two kids grown up now with three grand children I'm a retired knackered old joiner retired early from ill health this last four yrs I'm 58 my work shop is now nearing completion it 8m X 5m just the roof to be re done never got completed with my health problems at that time although health seem to be getting better (touch wood ) some of you may have seen one of my post on woodworking.com on tool box designs asking for woodies to show they individual tool chest/boxes that they had design for there own style of woodworking over the years so if any one would like to start the ball rolling go for it. kind regards martin

Hi all

oops sorry it might appear as i should have said instead of (woodworking .****) i should have said an other well known web site.
sorry kind regards martin

Hi guys

ref the tread on the other web site

I don't want any trouble with the moderators contact me by email. kind regards martin

The moderators wont / dont mind links to posts of interest on other sites. The only things that are frowned upon are spamming and commercial posting etc.
I'd be interested in seeing that thread as well.
Cheers Mike

ps welcome to the forum :)

Hi Martin, glad you got my e-mail(pitbull), it's o.k. to mention the aussie site mate. Welcome aboard, and hope you enjoy the forum.

Hi ALL

Hmm strange in my first post when i mentioned woodworking .com it came up *** report to moderator,*** though oh heck don't need this.

OK so its on www.woodworkingforums.co.uk or maybe .com one or the other under woodwork forums, and then woodwork general ,and its called tool chest design . I am interested in others tool chest design that they have developed over the yrs to compliment there own style of woodworking , be interesting to see others designs from around the world, if you read my post on there you'll see why i need a brand new design to house all my tools . kind regards

pd look forwards to seeing all your designs

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum, just the spam trap software putting a block on your reference as a new poster, it will leave you alone after a few posts.

Will someone please notify Martins Bank in the morning, he really needs some form of spending restrictions activated, he doesn't stand a chance if left to his own devices if Waka or any of the musketeers for that matter get their hooks in. :tool: :tool:

Martin - welcome to the forum...not going to Ally Pally with Waka and the others by any chance? 8-[ 8-[ if you are just make sure there's a padlock on your wallet :) - Rob

Hi rob

Thanks for that, no chance , I'm only interested in my trade and exchanging ideas between other woodies , as for having to padlock my wallet not a hope in hell.  know what i mean

Martin

Take no notice of the derogatory remarks I wouldn't dream of persuading people to but tools they don't need.

PM sent.

Hi waka

If others wish to pass such remarks that's up to them, I didn't know what the (tool tool ) was all about then but do now wasn't happy about the rest of the remark either , family motto ( luceo non uro ) . I simply want to enjoy this forum to exchange ideas with other woodies, so lets get back to my thread Tool chest designs if we can.
