Hi ... I have posted new projects to my Dorset Custom Furniture blog. One on a largeish cherry stairway that we shipped to California, (it breaks down into four pieces plus the railing), another on making a sailboat mast, and one on spring in the woods in Vermont. There are also other new entries on a folding coffee table, a bed, and some other projects we're working on, like my new woodshed. Check it out if you have a chance ,,,, http://www.dorsetcsutomfurniture.blogspot.com You can use the search box at the top left to find topics in the blog ...

That staircase is very impressive. Hope those drawers aren't fitted with a 'piston fit' - you know, where you close one drawer and another one opens!! :D

That is a nice stair, the sort of thing I would like to have in my home if my stairs would allow.

I did have a bath room with two steps down into it and thought of having drawers in the stair risers for cleaning stuff. Eventually decided to raise the floor instead leaving a sunken bath.

Very nice - do the stairs run into a hatchway (low height of balustrade at the top)?
