New lathe

Hi I am new to wood turning and looking to buy the nova comet ll lathe. I am just wondering is this a good first lathe

Depends what sort of things you want to turn. Also don’t forget to allow for tools, grinder, Chuck, consumables, safety kit amd of course wood in your budget!

As a newbie, I'd strongly recommend a used lathe, rather than new. All my stuff has been secondhand. It's saved me a lot of cash.
