New equipment ordered

Hi Folks,

Just thought i'd mention that i've ordered a Nova G3 chuck and the Robert Sorby 67hs turning tool set.

Can't wait to use a decent set of tools and a chuck at last.

Not sure if it would be useful or not but i'll post again with a finished piece when I get the stuff and maybe a wee mini review to boot.

Of course. But remember, when it comes to buying new tools, you should treat yourself, all the time. Tools don’t give you calories, so I wouldn’t worry. Maybe just a bash over the head from the wife…. 8) :lol:

I've read a lot of review of this set and they all say that they're ready to go out the box.

I guess i'll find out soon as they're supposed to arrive today.

Hi Folks,

At work just now but received the tools first thing this morning. Sure someone mentioned them before but a recommendation for Snainton Woodworking is due.

Feel like a child at crimbo, box is amazing, well presented, tools look orgasmic, LOL.

Got a free dvd too!
