Unfortunately John, as can be seen, it was a project destined to doom because of the remote picture hosting.

And a lack of member interest in supplying update information was not particularly encouraging.

So CHJ what would you recommend for the future of such pictures ?
 
If they are hosted on the forum server as attachments as is now possible they will remain available as part of the WIP thread and not dissapear when a hosting service or members account goes away.

Below your post edit window you will see a Upload attachment , use this to browse your machine for the file and upload it.
Keep the image size below 200k, more than enough for a 1024pixel wide image at reasonable compression.

Its a bit sticky isnt it Chas?

I had to hold my breath to see if it would load.

In fact to look at the picture when loaded to UKworkshop I had to click area in post before a picture responded, or is not so?
 
You are too impatient, there is a display loading delay, possibly because of indexing.
