On my way home tonight a woman tried to undertake me by using an exit slip as an extra lane. When she ran out of exit slip she tried to accelerate past me and re-enter my lane. She failed completely and actually caught me on the front passenger side wing with her rear quarter. This all happened at sixty miles an hour and I nearly got pushed out across the fast lane but managed to keep the car in control.
What did she do? She put the foot down and shot off down the motorway. I am beginning to think that she didn't even notice.

Be careful out there.

I had similar this weekend - 4x4 undertaking me as I was indicating and pulling onto a slip road - just drove at me with his horn blaring, forcing me back into traffic - and I drive a Volvo estate. Then weaving in and out to make a good hundred metres extra...

I despise people like that - where is so special that it's worth risking your life and someone else's to get there a bot quicker?

Have you complained to the police? See if its on a motorway camera somewhere?

I think its about time that we fitted up our cars with a front and rear view video cameras, that perhaps fires every two seconds, and with a rewind available in the car so you can wipe clean on long journeys to keep latest events.

There you are, a new opening for someone to start a new business.

If you want people driving at you, you should ride a bike; motorised or not it seems to make no difference.

I am glad you are ok as I have had a 4x4 do some close to that ( with my family in the car ) but I left just enough room for them to get passed

Nick

That is one of the reasons that I stop riding my bike  but will be getting back out on it this summer.

What is it with some of these 4x4 drivers? similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago in the horse box on a large roundabout, 4x4 decided to undertake on the 'ghost island' perimeter (white hatched markings on the road) expecting the lorry to get out of his way - there were 3 horses in the back so I wasn't going to make any sudden moves just for his convenience! He went 'off road' with his nearside wheels then drove off down the road shaking his fist and shouting a greeting that I couldn't quite hear

Many of them are driven by ladies, and they think the vehicle is handy like a Tank (chieftain variety)

They can become very aggressive on the roads.

Hi guys.

It was a 4X4 driven by a woman, surprised?

I went straight to the police station on the way home but there was no one on duty so I used the little telephone mounted outside and was told someone would be round as soon as possible. That was wednesday at about ten to six, so far i have heard nothing.

That driver could have been drunk or on drugs! They have now got away scot-free.

Also had some experience with cars suddenly changing lanes without them stopping changing lanes when they discover there is another car besides them. They let you with two choices getting run of the road of hitting your brake and try to change lanes as well. All the cars that have done this where indeed either 4x4 or large cars like Mercedeses and alike.

Bikes is another story. We have special roads and lanes for them with their own traffic lights. However some of them or rather most of them refuse to hoer the red light and plunge them selfs in hordes in front of passing cars to cross a road.

What is even worse if some of them drive on the sidewalk instead of on the bike lane which runs along the sidewalk. And they drive not carefully but blasing fast and are mad when a pedestrian is in their way.

A couple of weeks ago I walked to the train station when a man around in his fifties drove right at me, I barely could jump aside. He pulled over ran at me and started hitting and kicking me shouting that I had pushed him of his bike! Then he turned an ran back to his bike and shouted I will get you. The police does nothing because a biker is not traceable and must be caught red handed and even then they are not accountable for everything.
