I bought one of these: XCut HW20-6 from the German supplier.
3/4 inch, variable pitch, carbide teeth. Recommended for resawing veneers etc.
Not cheap (~€90 for the 3330mm blade required for my saw). I haven’t used it much because I couldn’t get it to cut true. I normally use a Tuffsaws M42 bimetal blade (3/4”) for resawing and it cuts true with the standard fence setup.
I need to spend some more time trying to figure out what I can do to get the TCT blade cutting better. I wonder if it is an issue with tension and that saw can’t tension it sufficiently. However I am a bit surprised if this is the case because the bimetal blade is thicker and is fully tensioned at point 8 on the scale running to 10 (i.e. it could be tensioned more if necessary).
Maybe you would have more luck. My saw for reference has 430mm flywheels and is a pretty robust modern machine, 1.5 kW motor, etc.
