Hi,

My Wife has been asking me to make her a candleabra for a while as she really loves candles and wanted something reasonably tall. So, bought the bits 'n' bobs from Styles and Bates and turned this for her birthday gift.

Elm - 13inches high, 4 inches at widest point, FP finish, mounted on grey/white marble disc with burgundy felt underneath:

Hi Jenx,

I'll find out on Monday :?

First piece of spindle work and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if I have a preference or not but I do enjoy faceplate work, think that's down to the fact that all my blanks are for faceplate work!

Thought it was quite easy to turn the candleabra but my main problem was having a tool rest that was half the length of the spindle. Managed ok though.

Cheers.
