This is a transcript of a telephone conversation I had with my missus this morning, while she was at work,

Wife Have you got any thin bendy plastic in the garage (my workshop)

Me No, why

Wife I'm making Eva (our 7 year old granddaughter) a bat costume for Halloween and I need something for the wings

Me Sorry all I have is 3 ply, hardboard or cardboard

Wife No there no good they'll be too heavy

There is now a long pause with neither of us speaking

Wife Well do you need any for your future projects? Because if you do then you could buy it now and we could use a
little bit for the wings on Eva's bat costume

She is actually telling me to go and buy materials for future projects, whenever I say I need to buy such and such she always kicks up a fuss

Me No sorry I don't think I will need any thin bendy plastic sheets

Wife Well thinking about it thick cardboard may work as it's only for the fin bits of the bat wings

Me If it's only for the fin bits of the wings will 6mm dowel work?

Wife Well........I suppose it will, but if you had any thin bendy plastic that would be better, not to worry I'll ring you when
I'm on my lunch break, love you, bye

We've been married 29 years, and I love her to bits, we have 2 lovely daughters who are married and have given us 3 lovely grandchildren (Eva 7, Harry 2, Finn 1) but you know sometimes she really does try my patience.

No the wonder I call myself,

Baldhead.

If your wife uses the computer and sees your post, I think bendy plastic is the least of your problems. (hammer)

Take care.

Well bendy plastic it is but don't forget you need that new fangiled power tool to cut it properly ;) Good luck with that

Try' Home Bargains'. they've got loads of Halloween stuff at cheap prices (hammer) . Other stores may also have them
Regards Keith

Sorted.

The missus came home from work and from her bag she produced........yes you've guessed it.......some thin bendy plastic.
I somehow feel relieved.
